The International Tang Soo Do Federation™ World Championship is a four day experience that includes a Tournament, Seminars, Dan Promotion Tests, Recertification Tests and an Awards Dinner. International Tang Soo Do Federation members throughout the world come together during this exciting time to gain more knowledge and practice authentic Tang Soo Do, both physically and mentally.
In 2027 the Federation is excited to be holding its 19th World Championship in Orlando, Florida, United States.

Tang Soo all School Owners, Instructors, Masters, Students, and Families!
Now that the 18th International Tang Soo Do World Championship has officially come to a close, I hope everyone has safely returned home. The memories and experiences we all had over the last four days will last for a lifetime. It was a time for all of us to train, practice, compete, and test together as one Tang Soo Do family. Many of you traveled thousands of miles to form and build lasting relationships with others who came for the same reasons - train in authentic Tang Soo Do. I hope everyone, their families, and friends enjoyed the time they spent together in Washington D.C.
Throughout the World Championship, I reminded everyone the importance of being respectful and showing good Tang Soo Do spirit. No matter if you won a medal, trophy or did not win anything, we must all remain humble and have a good attitude. When you go back to your school, I want you to talk to your classmates, not about how much fun you had or all the medals and trophies you won or did not win, but how valuable your time was spent to better yourself as a Tang Soo Do student and even more so a better person. Start with yourself from the inside to be that better person, then you can demonstrate physically how much you enjoy Tang Soo Do! I look forward to seeing everyone at the 19th International Tang Soo Do World Championship in Orlando, Florida.

Dear friends, colleagues, and members of our great Tang Soo Do family,
It has now been fifteen days since my return to Chile, enough time to reflect on and truly appreciate what we experienced at the recent World Championship. Today, with a calmer mind but the same emotion in my heart, I want to share what this recognition means to me.
Being inducted into the Hall of Fame of our International Tang Soo Do Federation is an immense honor, and I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Grandmaster Chun Sik Kim for considering me for such a distinguished distinction. I have never worked seeking awards or recognition; my motivation has always been to teach, promote, and preserve the authentic Tang Soo Do. However, this gesture confirms to me that dedication, perseverance, and love for what we do can transcend all borders.
Chile may be far from the places where our discipline was born and developed, but this honor shows that with commitment it is possible to raise the name of our country—and of all South
America—high. This recognition is not mine alone: it belongs to everyone who has been part of this journey, to my students, to my fellow members of the Federation, and especially to my teacher and father, Américo Patricio Marcos Díaz (RIP), who instilled in me from a young age the values and principles that continue to guide my life.
This recognition inspires me even more to continue working for the growth and strengthening of authentic Tang Soo Do in Chile and throughout South America. My commitment is to ensure that our discipline is not only practiced but truly lived—with respect, pride, and the martial spirit taught by the great masters.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this recognition, which I will treasure as one of the most meaningful moments of my life.
