Tang Soo all School Owners, Instructors, Masters, Students, and Families! 

 

Now that the 18th International Tang Soo Do World Championship has officially come to a close, I hope everyone has safely returned home.  The memories and experiences we all had over the last four days will last for a lifetime.  It was a time for all of us to train, practice, compete, and test together as one Tang Soo Do family.  Many of you traveled thousands of miles to form and build lasting relationships with others who came for the same reasons - train in authentic Tang Soo Do.  I hope everyone, their families, and friends enjoyed the time they spent together in Washington D.C.

 

Throughout the World Championship, I reminded everyone the importance of being respectful and showing good Tang Soo Do spirit.  No matter if you won a medal, trophy or did not win anything, we must all remain humble and have a good attitude.  When you go back to your school, I want you to talk to your classmates, not about how much fun you had or all the medals and trophies you won or did not win, but how valuable your time was spent to better yourself as a Tang Soo Do student and even more so a better person.  Start with yourself from the inside to be that better person, then you can demonstrate physically how much you enjoy Tang Soo Do!  I look forward to seeing everyone at the 19th International Tang Soo Do World Championship in Orlando, Florida.
